The nats defence did not come to the park today 7 unearned runs given to the astros  made this game harder than what needed to be, at times it seemed like we were playing by ourselves being how we were scoreing all the  runs for both teams. even with all the misques the nats were not worried knowing that we were in controll of the game regardless of the error filled day . nats way to swing the bats you showed class,composure and fight the result shows on the scoreboard. GREAT JOB!!!

Despite not knocking in the go ahead run, the Yankess were able to turn a two out rally against a strong Phillies team into a three run inning, which ended the game in a tie.  The key to the win was hits that scored runs. The Yankees had great performances from B.Mulaney, T.Smiley, and eight strong innings of pitching by M.Guardia. K.Davis and B.Klenk both scored three times. M.Morriset and T.Mauricio were both solid in the field. P.Valenzuela with the save.

On the 64th anniversary of the first sea battle where the opposing forces never saw the others ships;
Ed Jannone got the win Sunday after starting, driving cross town to play in those dreadful corporate games and just making it back in time to notch the last three outs!!!
   Final score, Royals 16-A's-10.
Meanwhile Jesse McKindley held off a relentless A's counter attack; reminiscent of Aubrey Fitch at the
Battle of the Coral Sea, this date back in 1942.
   Offensively, Jesse was like Jimmie Thach, Commander of VF-3, driving in 4 runs and hitting his stride.
    Also getting RBI's were Kevin Walton with 3,
Chris Chruma with 2, Ed Yates, Rick Kline, Allen Peerless and Ed Jannone with one each.
So until the Battle of Midway, the sky is clear.-OUT
(Athletics)
Casey pitched strong middle releif for us today but the rest of our pitching was weak. We fought back but came up short. All of our hitters produce something.Thanks A's for not giving up.

 The Yankees held on to defeat a powerful Astros team.
The Yankees were anchored by Mike Gardia, who pitched six strong innings. Most notable for the pinstrips was strong outfield play.  Led by T.Mauricio, S. Lorentz, and B. Mulaney.
The key to the win was timely hitting that cleared the bases which helped to secure the win.
