GAME UNDER REVIEW.....

The Angels outlasted a determined Mets sqaud and won 4-2. Major props go
to Robert "Chickenwing" Miranda who went the distance. Also Bryan Peck
was 3 for 4 with a home run, double and 2 RBI. Other notables:

Good game, the Red Sox came back in
the 9th inning with a 1 and 2 count with 2 outs and bases loaded, and
hit a walk off 2 run double to beat us. They had 1 pitch left and hit a
true 93-95 mph fast ball to win it. Congrats to the Sox.

Great day for some Baseball. Good game
overall. The DODGERS were able to salvage a tie on a two run 9nth inn come
back while trailing the whole game. Either team could have taken this one.

On a wonderful Father's Day
spent partially at Ventura College, the Angels fought off a late Padres
rally and held on for the win, 17-12. Ed Jannone pitched six great innings
to earn the victory. On the sticks side; Kevin Walton went 4 for 5 with a
double, 2 RBI and a rare stolen base. Sean, "The Irish" Kirkpatrick, went
1-5 with a base clearing triple, 3 RBI and 2 stolen bases. Other Angels
standouts; Griffin Thomas, 2-5, RBI, 2SB Rob Hawbaker, 2-5, 2 RBI, 2SB Chris
Chruma, 1-4, RBI, 2R, BB Jeff Thomas, 1-4, 2R Andy Madec, 2-4. 2R, 2SB Plus
Will Randall got the Purple Heart for his great work behind the dish.

a complete game 3-hit shutout walking 2 and striking out 16. The only run of
the game came in the 5th inning, Jeff Johnson walked and, with 2 out, Mike
Gray walked and Johnson came home on Fernando Garcia's single. Johnson went
2-for-3.
