Pat Redican pitched a complete game and the Sox broke open a 4-2 game
with 4 runs in the 8th and 2 in the 9th. Kris Gonzales hit a 3-run homer
in the 8th to break it open. He, Redican, and Fern Garcia had 3 hits
each.

Sox overcame a 2-0 deficit with a 5-run 5th inning sparked by Kris
Gonzales' 2-run single. Ryan Hickey added a 2-run single for insurance
in the 8th. Bobby Martinez started and got the win pitching 5+
innings. Jeff Johnson and Matt Buck shut down the Phillies over the lat
3 2/3 innings. Fern Garcia and Pat Redican had 3 hits each.
