(Brewers)

The Brewers had a hard season getting to the championship game but we did it playing hard and never giving up. The first game against the first place Cardinals, the Brewers did not show up to play with only three runs scored on five hits and allowing five runs on five errors it was not a good start for us. We came in after beating the Dodgers and Phillies thinking it was going to be an easy win. The Cardinals showed us how to play and beats with good hard baseball. It was a wake up call for the Brewers with a loss.

Cardinals 0 0 0 2 0 0 0 0 2 4

(Brewers)
After a team BBQ at the field for lunch and a line up change the Brewers came to play the second game with intensity and the drive to win. With Brian O'niell on the mound for us he threw eight and two thirds of solid pitching giving up only three runs with 4 K's and 9 walks. Own came in in the ninth with two outs giving up one run and striking out the batter to end the game. the Brewers defense was behind him with only two errors and catching 11 fly balls. Giving the Brewers a chance to put six runs on the board was Brian D, 2-5, 2-2B -Brain O, 4-4, 3-1B, 1-2B, 2 RBI -Ryan, 3-4, 2-1B, 1HR, 3RBI -Owen 2-4, 1-3B, 1-1B- Eddie, 1-RBI. The Brewers knew what they had to do and did it with a big win it was and entire team effort.GREAT JOB GUYS to bad Steve can not contribute witha season ending injury the whole team stepped up to the plate and took care of business.
